I am a Woman of God, Singer, Actor, and Dancer - in that order.
I have performed for 10 years in over 20 productions.
In at least half of my productions, I have simultaneously held roles such as Stage Manager, Director, Writer, and several Stage and Build Crew Positions.
I love to read a good book, watch a motivational movie, and crochet a fun craft. I am the oldest of 4 children, 16 grandchildren, and most of my groups of friends.
(And, if I'm being completely honest, I'm a little weird!)
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - Day Saints.
I include God in every project I am a part of, and thank Him for every day I wake up and am able to perform.
Singer:
I have taken a total of 8 years of vocal coaching from several coaches in the Utah County Area. I am a strong Soprano, however I have often been asked to sing Alto in multiple choirs. Because of this, I have nearly a 3 octave range, and am currently working to expand it further. I have a strong Mix/Belt and also love to sing Classically. I love almost every style out there; I have performed Opera, Jazz, Pop, and a few Country pieces throughout my time.
Actor:
I have been performing in school and community live theaters for the last 10 years. I have just recently, in the last 2 years, started appearing in videos for my church. Some of my favorite stage roles have included The Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, a Lost Boy in Peter Pan, Inspector Clueles' in The Romanian Uranium Mystery, Verges in Much Ado About Nothing, and Melpomene, Muse of Tragedy in Xanadu.
Dancer:
I fell in love with Tap Dancing after performing in Mary Poppins at American Leadership Academy in Spanish Fork, Utah. The summer after, I started classes, and am now a strong, Intermediate Tap Dancer. I have always loved dancing in general and am a strong mover. Over the years, I have worked very hard to hold my own with the dance groups of various productions, even without formal training. Ballet and Contemporary classes are in the near future, and I can't wait to learn more!
In my free time - when I get it - I love to:
Write:
I'll write anything from scripts to books to essays.
When I can, I enter lots of competitions. I participated in the National Playwrights For Change Competition in 2020, where I placed first in the District, State, and Region Rounds. I was then considered for a National Award for my short play For the Real Girls.
Dabble in Photography:
I mostly shoot nature and object shots. Occasionally, I'll try and get fun people shots, but that's still a big work in progress.

Crochet and Sew:
Ever since my Great-Grandma taught me, when I was 8, I have really enjoyed crocheting. I love to make wash-rags, blankets, and hats. I love learning how to make a new project, but struggle to read the patterns. So, more often than not, I make it up myself! I also love quilting - when I can make the time for it.
Everyone has a story.
Whether or not one chooses to own, accept, hide, ignore, or share their story is an individual matter. Stories are happy, stories are sad; stories are anything but black and white. Struggles are present, trials are featured, and the world gets turned on its head now and then. It's universal. It happens to everyone. And so, I believe the ultimate human goal is to gain from the stories of others understanding and empathy.
Thus, I write.
Thus, I share stories.
Theatre is a space where an individual comes to feel the unsafe emotions from a safe distance and in a safe environment.
I perform to hold that safe space for all; to allow them to "walk a mile in 'my' shoes", to let them experience the "transportation of theatre".
By choosing to represent the stories of human life - either on stage or screen or on the page - we cultivate strong communities of empathy.
Thus, I am always looking for inspirational stories to tell.
Thus I perform.
